Abstract

WIPL is a program for fast and accurate analysis of metallic antennas, scatterers, and passive microwave circuits. This program allows the user to define the geometry of any metallic structure as a combination of wires and plates, and then check this data by using 3D drawing of the structure. On the one side, the efficiency of the program is based on the flexible geometrical modeling. On the other side, its efficiency is based on the small number of unknowns needed for obtaining satisfactory results. WIPL efficiently executes most computations in under 60 sec, making the software ideal for CAD.
