Abstract

This paper presents a method of analyzing lossy multiconductor transmission lines embedded in lossy dielectric media and connecting linear networks. The numbers of multiconductor transmission lines and networks are arbitrary. Utilizing the quasi-static assumption, we compute the circuit parameters of each multiconductor transmission line by a two dimensional analysis of the cross section of the circuit board, using standard circuit theory we compute either the time domain response or the S parameters of the system and compare the theoretical data with experiment.
