Abstract

A correlation has been found between the chemical shifts of the methyl groups and the ligand field strength of X in the complexes [Co(MAC)X 2]ClO4, where X = Br-, Cl-, N 3-, NCO-, SCN-, AcO-, NO2-, and CN-, and MAC is one of four methyl substituted tetradentate macrocycles.
