Abstract
Based on the simplified model of energy level of bacteriorhodopsin, the rate equations of bacteriorhodopsin under two beams illumination were established. The behaviours of time-dependent transmission at 412nm (blue beam) were calculated and analyzed. The results show that at first blue beam shows high transmission and then decreases with time. This kind of time-dependent behaviours of bacteriorhodopsin film can be used for novel filter.
