Theoretical calculation and analysis of time-dependent transmission behaviours for chemically enhanced bacteriorhodopsin film

Abstract

Based on the simplified model of energy level of bacteriorhodopsin, the rate equations of bacteriorhodopsin under two beams illumination were established. The behaviours of time-dependent transmission at 412nm (blue beam) were calculated and analyzed. The results show that at first blue beam shows high transmission and then decreases with time. This kind of time-dependent behaviours of bacteriorhodopsin film can be used for novel filter.
