Abstract

The relationship between the need for a Federal policy toward weather modification and the actual forms of regulatory bodies and operational programs that have evolved in California, Colorado, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and South Dakota, are examined. The historical development of weather modification in these states is addressed, as is the relationship of particular programs to changes in each state's policies.-from US Govt Reports Announcements, 16, 1982
