Abstract

Transient experiments were performed on agitated dispersions operated batchwise at different continuous-phase viscosities. One of the systems studied c. The temporal variation of drop size distribution was observed by photomicrographic methods. At low continuous-phase viscosities, steady state was appro. Minimum coalescence rates were calculated using the temporal variation of drop sizes.
