Abstract
The guest editors of the Generations issue "The Great Depression: Implications for an Aging America" describe the situation as one that challenges the nation but also demonstrates and draws upon the country's resilience. In an overview, they describe the contributions of the various authors in the issue, and outline both the challenges as the opportunities of the situation.
