Abstract

Reaction of thiophenol with K[Ru(Hedta)Cl] results in the formation of a bis-thiolato-bridged Ru(III)-Ru(III) dimer (II) possessing a Ru-Ru single bond (2,866(1) Å) for which the crystal structure is presented.
