N2 - MAPGrid (Mobile APplications on Grids) system enables the delivery of services to mobile users by exploiting heterogenous and intermittently available grid resources. In this paper, we present techniques of cost-effective resource discovery and dynamic resource reprovisioning on grid proxies when context of system environment (e.g. application, network, resource, mobile device) change in infrastructure based wireless networks (e.g. cellular or WLAN). Especially, we focus on how to adapt to dynamic changes of user mobility patterns. We show that the MAPGrid system provides an infrastructure support for enabling and effectively enhancing mobile applications.
