Abstract

Molecular communication is a bio-compatible and effect efficient method proposed to establish communication links between nanomachines. Inspired by the possibility and plausibility of nanomachines existing in clusters in a fluidic environment, this paper analyzes the statistics of molecular communication scenarios in said clusters, which are referred to as nanomachine swarms. In the paper, it if found that different receivers in the swarm absorb different numbers of molecules and face different inter-symbol interferences, which directly affects the bit error rate performance of the system.
