Abstract

Decay of lepton to six pions and a neutrino was experimentally investigated. The branching fraction for two six-pion decays were measured and were found to be in agreement with isospin symmetry predictions. The resonance substructure in the decays were also studied. The results were used to identify vector and axial-vector current contributions to the inclusive branching fractions. The study was carried out with data collected from the CLEO detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring.
