Abstract
We investigate highly constrained final states involving the production of Λ0 and Λ̄0 particles in K+p interactions at 12.7 GeV/c. We show that Λ0 production appears to proceed dominantly through processes which can be regarded as the fragmentation of the target, while Λ̄0 production appears to result mainly from beam fragmentation.
