Abstract

An examination on how the addition of Polyhedral Oligomeric Silsesquioxane (POSS) into the structure of copolymers with polynorbornene affects the copolymers' strain recovery properties. It was determined that such an incorporation results in an increase in the glass transition temperature o of the copolymers. It also increased their rubbery modulus and the stability of their retracted state.
