Abstract

We present results on the measurement of various loop-loop correlation functions in models of random surfaces incorporating dynamical retriangulation. Specifically we are able to extract values for the mass gap and string tension as a function of the coupling to an extrinsic curvature term in the action. Naive extrapolations of the data would suggest that the string tension may indeed scale correctly at the critical point.
