Quantum coherence effects in plasmonics: New dimension in nanophotonics

Abstract

We present theoretical demonstration of quantum coherence-enhanced propagation of surface plasmon polaritons(SPPs). We show that propagation dynamics of SPPs can benefit from the quantum boost in the visible regime, adding a new dimension to nanophotonics.
