Abstract

Reaction of [MCl(NNMe₂)₂(PPh₃)2]Cl (M = Mo or W) with [Buⁿ₄N]₂[M'S₄] (M' = Mo, W) gives the complexes [S₂M'S₂M(NNMe₂)₂(PPh₃)]; an X-ray crystal structure of the dinuclear complex with M = M' = Mo shows the molybdenum atoms to have distorted tetrahedral and trigonal bipyramidal geometries.
