Abstract

Reaction of [MCl(NNMe2)2(PPh3)2]Cl (M = Mo or W) with [Bun4N]2[M'S4] (M' = Mo, W) gives the complexes [S2M'S2M(NNMe2)2(PPh3)]; an X-ray crystal structure of the dinuclear complex with M = M' = Mo shows the molybdenum atoms to have distorted tetrahedral and trigonal bipyramidal geometries.
