Abstract
A mathematical model for ion transport in sea fish intestinal cells is formulated and numerically integrated. Epithelial models may provide the explanation for some of the strange electrophysiological responses in the measurements and allow the inclusion of a newly proposed transport mechanism in order to investigate its potential consequences on the epithelial transport.
