Abstract

A method for evaluating the reliability of telecommunication networks when links have variable capacities is presented. Source-to-terminal success is defined as the ability to provide connectivity with a certain capacity. An algorithm to evaluate the performance index is presented. Implementation is carried out in C on a Gould UTX/32 computer, and the results are presented.
