abstract = "A novel multiband antenna array capable of wide angle beam steering at each operating band is designed using a multiplexed antenna feed utilizing dual band isolation circuits based on a Composite Right/Left Handed (CRLH) transmission line (TL). The antenna feed utilizes three CRLH TL based isolation circuits, each connected to an antenna element. The method described here has the advantage of being able to connect any three antennas using a simple and straightforward design procedure while maintaining good match at the common input. It also allows for the placement of the antenna elements in each band to be at the desired inter-element spacing (e.g. half wavelength). For demonstrating the concept, a 2×1 linear array fed with the purposed multiplexed antenna feeds operating at 1.59GHz, 3.75GHz, and 5.9GHz frequency bands, is fabricated, then measured. The measured results show good agreement with the theory.",
