Abstract

The presented work introduces a Time-Domain technique and a Homomorphic (Cepstrum- Domain) technique for detecting a metallic sphere placed behind a lossy dielectric wall. Both of them rely on the monostatic analysis of the scattered electromagnetic waves from an electromagnetic impulse incident on the wall. The performance of the two approaches will be compared at various distances from the wall.
