Abstract

The reaction of [MoCl₄(thf)₂] (thf = tetrahydrofuran) with NaSC₆H₂Prⁱ₃ in thf under CO gives [Mo(CO)₂(SC₆H₂Prⁱ ₃)₃]^- (1); an X-ray crystal structure shows a trigonal bipyramidal structure with axial CO groups.
