Abstract

We have investigated the hadronic transitions (2S)00(1S)l +l- (l= or e) and (2S)+-(1S)+ e+-e- using the Crystal Ball detector at the DESY e+e- storage ring DORIS II. Using the present world-average value of Bll((1S))=2.90.3)% we derive branching ratios B((2S)00(1S))= (8.01.5)% and B((2S)+-(1S))= (16.94.0)%. We also present results on the invariant-mass spectra and the angular distributions of the dipion system.
