Abstract
In order to change the structure of systems to produce more of what we want and less of that which is undesirable, one must first recognize the nature of the systems at work and select a leverage point at which to intervene. This chapter is theoretical, offering a critical reinterpretation of the fundamental work of art in human development, while also modeling several ideas for utilizing our collective creative practices both as leverage points toward greater social equity and as a catalyst for others to do likewise.
