Abstract

This chapter explores the author’s many roles-as social worker, educator, researcher, certified therapeutic riding instructor, equine facilitated psychotherapist, small business owner, and active community member. Her path in the field has been marked by mentorship, reflection on personal experience, and a commitment to continued learning. In this brief reflection, she shares her experience finding her career as it parallels the growth and progress of the field and her community.
