Abstract
We explore the possibility that the Higgs triplet partners of the electroweak breaking doublets might be light (≲TeV), and show how this idea might be implemented. We conclude that supersymmetry is essential and that some Yukawa couplings and Higgs masses must be equal at or near unification. These identities are guaranteed in theories where each family has its own gauge group.
