Abstract

Depending on the tether length of the diphosphonate group, hydrothermal reactions of VCl4 with diphosphonic acids of the class (H2O3P)(CH2)n(PO3H2) in the presence of templating organic cations yield one‐, two‐, and three‐dimensional framework structures of the V‐O‐RPO 32− system. The picture shows a section of the three‐dimensional framework of [H3N(CH2)2NH3][(VO)4(OH)2(H2O)2{O3P(CH2)3PO3}2]·4H2O. (Figure Presented.)
