Abstract

A hybrid method with method of moments (MoM) using higher-order basis function and physical optics (PO) is presented. By iterating the voltage matrix computation, the method is very clear in the concept and efficient in the implementation. The results demonstrate that the hybrid MoM-PO method is more efficient than the commercial software and able to efficiently analyze phased array antennas mounted on electrically large platforms.
