Abstract

Presents some precise empirical tests of the basic theory on housing prices and location - tests that make use of theoretically determined functional forms. Theory of location and price of housing is discussed in Section 1, and precedures for estimating this theory using oridinary least squares are described in Section 2. Section 3 represents the results of an application of these procedures to three different sets of data. A summary and some conclusions are given in Section 4.Author
