Economie reform and the behavior of policy makers: Some implications for economics and finance

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The magnitude of recent changes in the internal and external environments faced by many countries and the speed with which these changes have come about necessitate that we gain an understanding of the factors affecting them. The way policymakers behave has a very important impact on the degree of success of a country's reform program. We must therefore understand what motivates policymakers and how they react to the changing environment.
