Dispersion characteristics in a magnetically gyrotropic medium

Abstract

The dispersion characteristics of waves in a magnetically gyrotropic medium for an arbitrary direction of applied magnetic field are obtained. The resonance and cutoff frequencies are derived. The frequency regions where waves can or can't propagate are investigated.
