Abstract
Summary form only given, as follows. The authors consider a decentralized detection system with feedback. The issues of agreement probability and link usage in this feedback structure are investigated. Using some properties of this structure, they derive asymptotic results for the agreement probability. The second issue addresses the use of communication links between the detector and the fusion center. The authors propose and analyze two protocols to reduce the link usage. They derive equations for the average number of links needed under hypotheses H1 and H0, and study the asymptotic performance.
