Abstract

The reaction of Li(SC6H2Pri 3-2,4,6) with CoCl2 in diethyl ether solution affords [Li(OEt2)3][Co2(SC6H 2Pri 3-2,4,6)5] which features an anion that has a unique face-sharing structure composed of two CoS4 tetrahedra.
