Abstract
This chapter presents a heuristic for discussing learning, mastering, and modifying lesson study. In doing so, it illuminates connections between the book’s chapters and provides a reflective map for the readers’ learning. We conclude with thoughts about the ongoing nature of lesson study and the role of lesson study in preservice teacher education.
