Abstract

Because of many users and a crowded spectrum, electromagnetic interference is a common occurrence in current communications and electronic equipments, Analyses and simulations are typically performed to determine the extent of the interference problem. However, these tend to be very difficult, costly, and time consuming, This paper introduces an approach that can simplify analyses and simulations dealing with weakly nonlinear narrow bandpass systems. In particular, a baseband equivalent model is developed which not only simplifies analyses but allows for computer simulations to be carried out at baseband sampling frequencies.
