Abstract
The capacity of correlated MIMO Rayleigh fading channels is investigated in the asymptotic regime where the number of receive and transmit antennas go to infinity, with their ratio kept constant. The channel is assumed to be known at the receiver but not at the transmitter. A general asymptotic expression for the capacity is obtained in terms of the spatial scattering function of the channel.
