Abstract

The ray-tracing technique does not take into account the effects of the inner structure of walls for indoor propagation prediction. A numerical approach to consider this problem using the FDTD method is presented. Numerical results of the path loss calculated by the FDTD method are compared to those obtained by the ray-tracing technique.
