Abstract

The second AIAA Geometry and Mesh Generation Workshop (GMGW2) included a test case, whose objectives were to (1) develop a watertight model of a transport-type aircraft from a given mathematical description, and (2) create a “medium” meshes on a series of aircraft configurations (from above or from supplied STEP files). In total, there were 10 submissions to the workshop, from various organizations. This paper presents an analysis of the submitted geometries and meshes.
