Abstract

This paper presents a neural network approach to solving a set of simultaneous linear equations. A Hopfield-style network has been developed to optimize a cost function which reflects the quality of the solution. The notable features of this network are its high speeds of convergence and the extremely accurate solutions it gives for all solvable systems.
