This correspondence reports the experimental results of applying the coherent wide-band modified forward-backward linear prediction (MFBLP) algorithm to radar data obtained in a real target-clutter environment for detection improvement in the Doppler frequency domain. Significant signal detection improvement is obtained and further research topics are suggested.
