Adaptive two-stage decorrelator for DS/CDMA systems

Research output: Chapter in Book/Entry/PoemConference contribution

Abstract

An improved two-stage decorrelating detection scheme for DS/CDMA systems has been presented in [1]. This modified version of the decorrelating detector results in a significant performance enhancement of the decorrelator with a rather modest increase in complexity. In this paper, we develop an adaptive version of the two-stage decorrelator using the zero-forcing algorithm. Simulation results indicate that this adaptive detector is able to track the time-variant system behavior and adjusts its coefficients automatically.
