Abstract

A study to lower the dielectric properties of aromatic benzoxazole power polymer system with fluorine containing moieties, yet achieving high Tg properties is conducted. Lowering the dielectric properties of these highly fused structures is carried by incorporating perfluoroisopropyl groups along the backbone structure. The results obtained show that the thermomechanical, dielectric and solubility properties of benzoxazole homo- and copolymer systems can be balanced.
