Abstract

A joint detection-decoding (JDD) receiver performs multiuser detection and channel decoding jointly, where information about channel codes is utilized for multiuser detection. The performance of such a receiver is improved, but Its complexity is also increased. In this paper, we propose a JDD receiver with reduced complexity, where parallel Interference cancellation and convolutional codes are employed. We show Its excellent performance via simulation.
