Research interests

My research work spans different facets of experimental particle phyisics. I study different approaches to extract information on fundamental particles and their interactions through the observations of key beauty quark decays. In parallel I work on the  development and construction of advanced detectors that allow us to continuously improve our sensitivity to new physics discoveries. I am currently leading the construction of a silicon microstrip detector to be installed in the upgrade currently under way for the LHCb experiment.
