Emily K. Hart is the Science Librarian and Research Impact Lead at Syracuse University Libraries. She is a subject librarian who provides research support, instruction and outreach services to several science related departments within the College of Arts & Sciences. Emily has specialized in supporting science research for over 12 years. She also leads a team of librarians focused on improving research reputation and supporting the research enterprise at the University. Additionally, Emily has a background in web and electronic resources and chairs the Libraries' Discovery Team, which focuses on improving the functionality of the Libraries' web discovery systems. She completed her BA in English with a minor in Education at St. Bonaventure University, and her Masters in Library Science (MLS) and an Advanced Certificate in Educational Technology at the University at Buffalo. She has presented at local and national conferences, most recently on topics related to assessment and graduate programming. Her research interests include research reputation and bibliometrics, systematic reviews, assessment, scholarly communications, and graduate student outreach.
