M. presented, "The Moynihan Report: Lessons Learned 50 Years Later", at the 61st Annual Program Meeting of the Council on Social Work Education, Denver, CO. Abstract:The 1965 Moynihan report illuminated pressing issues that affected Black families. Fifty years later, we are still addressing these concerns. Constructive teaching of the lessons learned from this landmark report remains a work in progress. This golden anniversary affords us the opportunity to once again set the record straight.
